The Art For Humanity World Tour is being organized by the T.F. Chen Art For Humanity Foundation -- a non-profit organization advancing Art Education and Dr. T.F. Chen's vision of a Global Culture of Peace. The Tour plans to travel to Universities and Museums around the world, accompanied by educational programs, workshops, symposia, art competitions, awards programs, etc. involving the local communities.

Positions Available in the Following Fields:

    • WEBSITE MAINTENANCE In English & Chinese.
    • OFFICE ADMINISTRATION Daily office duties
    • PR & MARKETING (artworks, painting, prints, copyright..)

    Salaries/Commission for qualified, experienced, dedicated personnel well-connected in the art society, who can sell artwork in our gallery, & arrange and market shows both nationally and internationally.

    • FREELANCE FUNDRAISERS
    • BOOK KEEPER (experienced, part-time)
    • EVENT PLANNER (freelance) Commission-based.
    • ART LICENSING & MARKETING Commission-based.


  1. INTERNS:
    Interns will be immersed in the daily operations of a non-profit, international art organization . They will gain practical knowledge & skills in the following aspects:

    • Exhibitions/Major Art Fairs: Gain experience in planning, promoting, & setting up exhibitions in our headquarters in SoHo, NYC and around the world.
    • Art Licensing & Marketing / Museum Store (Wholesale & Retail): We design, produce & distribute unique, high-quality art merchandise. Member of the Museum Store Assoc.
    • Art Gallery Administration: Daily operation

Requirements:

Open to people with a sensitivity to art and people, a compassion for multiculturalism, and an aspiration towards a career in the field. We prefer people who have a passion for art & culture, rather than those who just want a job. We seek people who are flexible, hardworking, dependable, responsible and committed to a real work experience. Interns must possess basic office skills (fax, phone, copier, filing, etc.), excellent organizational skills and be able to follow directions well and work on their own initiative. A background in business, art history, PR, marketing, web design, and/or finance is a plus.

Work schedules can be tailored to each intern's needs. Wages/stipends are based on each individual's experience and work performance. School credit can be arranged. The first week is on a TRIAL BASIS.
